Location And Access
The Gravel Loader is a functioning jetty located on the road to Bass Point. It is easily accessible via the boat ramp just east of the loader.

Description

This is an ideal dive as it is generally a well-protected site from prevailing conditions. Back to the west side; further off and laying parallel to the jetty can be found remnants of the previous jetty structure.
The end of the gravel loader provides the best fish life with large quantities of Old Maids, Puffers, Cuttlefish, Groper, Wrasse, Yellowtail, Bullseye as regulars.

At the end of the loader are 4 tie ups for ships, at the base of the southernmost tie up is a chain that leads to a large anchor underwater. This is about 50m south of the Loader, out from the mid-way point. Well worth looking for.
